“ The restaurant is definitely old and could use some love as it looks worn down but the sandwiches were delicious. The roast beef had so much flavour and not sloppy at all. The chicken sandwich was perfectly fried and juicy. The gravy is a must! Make sure u order some with the fries. Definitely a must try if you are in the mood for some comfort food. Super friendly staff and large parking ”
“ This is a family favourite for years and years so I am probably bias. Famous for beef on a bun with a basket of fries. Gravy is thick and flavourful ... my favourite. I personally order the gyro and it is top notch. Atmosphere leaves something to be desired but it always has a clean booth for eating. Hour of operation are more limited they it used to be... I used to be able to stop in up to 4am but something changed now only open until 10 or 11pm ”
“ Wow! I must say that this place is great! I had a roast beef sandwich. It was so tasty I had to get another one. The beef and gravy was hot and delicious. The service was fast and the atmosphere is old school but very clean. I will definitely be back!! ”
“ Been coming here since i was a kid, over 15 years later, will always be amazing service. 80 for a family of 4 is honestly really good for such amazing food & friendly service. always smiles and great people. the food just keeps getting better and better. ”
“ Great prices (cheaper than some subway footlongs for a whole basket of food), and the food comes fast and fresh. Only issue is the price of the add on gravy for fries on a basket, it adds 11% onto your bill. I think the price for a side gravy at a place that uses a ton of gravy on your 5 Sandwhich should be cheaper. The place does need some cleaning but it does have that diner charm ”
“ Been eating here, on occasion, for over 40 years. They're still making a damn fine roast beef sandwich. Quick and pleasant service. Yeah, the interior is dated, but you're not going there for ambiance. ”
“ A classic roast beef sandwich shop that hasn’t changed a bit since the 80s. Delicious hearty and simple food prepared very quickly. Family run, independent fast food restaurants like this basically do not exist anymore and Tally Ho Is a Gem of a bygone era that needs to be protected at all costs. ”
“ Made a trip out to Tally Ho last week from Oakville with a brother who lives in the Hammer. Wow! Amazing roast beef on a bun piled high with lots of delicious gravy, onion rings were excellent as well. Will definitely return again and soon. Love the old school places like this, like going back in time. ”
